Ramesh Ferris was the President of SUCCI in 2000 – 2001 and a graduate of our Social Service Worker Program. 

In 2008, Ramesh Ferris hand cycled across Canada  to raise awareness and funds for the eradication of polio, the crippling disease that still threatens children in parts of Africa and Asia. Ferris cycled more than 7,110km by bicycle over 173 days, raising over C$300,000.

At the Canadian Post Secondary Education (PSE) Conference, in May this year, Stewart Foss (of Edustyle.net) identified some great examples of Canadian PSE websites. Three of his picks were recent builds by Academica Group (Brock, Confederation, and Tyndale), putting them in his TOP TEN Post Secondary Education sites in Canada.
